HOW IS HAND CUTTING PERFORMED?
The first step of a cut is the drawing. It is done on the back of the paper, on the white side. Once the drawing is finished, the cutting phase can begin. Either with scissors or with the cutter, at the choice of the artist. Generally the sheet is folded in half, which offers the classic effect of symmetry. Once the cutting is finished, the artist delicately unfolds the paper and the entire cut of the black side is revealed. A meticulous work then is the setting in frame, because the paper in the state became very delicate, and according to the cutting some parts literally hold that to a thread.
