Functioning

A mechanical cuckoo resonates like the original cuckoo. Completely mechanical, it works with the help of counterweights that just need to be reassembled (which takes less than 5 seconds, once a day). Simply pull on the chain which will raise the counterweight.
The sound is produced using cones which inflate and deflate through a kind of whistle. The sound of the cuckoo can be stopped by simply removing the weight corresponding to the cuckoo.

Note: The Swiss flag on the roof is removable. You have the choice to put it on or not to put it on.

Traveling by plane with a cuckoo: Many customers ask us the question of permission to carry a cuckoo plane: There are no restrictions on this! You can perfectly travel with your cuckoo in hand luggage or put it in the hold bag.

Note about the packaging: All our cuckoos are packed in their original carton. When we send them, we place the original carton inside a new carton with a protective layer. As a result, the shipment is highly protected during transport by Swiss Post.

 

International shipments: Cuckoo clocks are the only items we also send outside Switzerland. Make sure you don't have that the cuckoo in the basket in order to be able to place the order. If your country is not on the list, write us a line by email, and we will add it to the list.

		Add a tag with a name on your cuckoo !! In order to make your cuckoo unique, we engrave wood or metal plates that we apply on the front or side. A very good idea to mark a particular event (birthday, wedding, retirement, name of the cottage, etc.) The plate is custom-made based on the size of the text and the size of the cuckoo.
